Hey! So I lost 4.4 pounds this week! I am so excited about that. I honestly thought I was going to gain a pound or two this week. Its been a crazy week. I only worked out 3 times. I really wanted to work out 5 times this week. I also was so tired of tracking my food. I just didn't feel like counting points for everything all the time. But I am over that now and this week is full speed ahead. My goal is 3 pounds this week! So lets get to it!

WW: Week 2 Video Update

Weight Watchers: Week 1
I started Weight Watchers last Sunday and I am so excited (cant you tell by my face in the video lol). It is one week later and I have lost 9 pounds so far! It's far away from the 60 that I want to lose by June 2012 (college graduation) but I am well on my way. This week hasn't been to hard when it comes to changing the way that I eat. I thought it would be dreadful but it's really not. I don't experience those moments where Im starving and can't eat anything. I get to eat whatever I want as long as I don't go over my points. I get 47 points per day and an extra 49 for the week. I thought this was so little when I first got my number but on somedays I don't even reach 47 points. The only thing that can be annoying about WW (Weight Watchers) is that you have to track everything you eat and the associated point values. I mean it's very easy to do but it can be annoying at times. But I plan to continue tracking because thats what its all about. It helps me to make healthier choices. I am eating a lot more fruits and vegetables than I usually do and I am feeling really good. I don't feel tired and groggy all the time. It really is a great feeling to eat better. I have also been exercising this week. I walked a mile 3 times this week and I did a Richard Simmons video earlier today lol. You don't have to do intense workouts all the time. I'm taking baby steps.
So, all week I had been looking forward to Saturday because I knew I was going to use my weekly points (49) and go to Popeyes lol. I went to Popeyes and got a chicken strip meal and I also had a large fry from Rallys earlier in the day. It was so freakin good but I definitely paid for it later on. Yesterday night was one of the worst nights I have had in a while. It was only 8pm and I was feeling tired and groggy and my stomach was in it's own world. I finally went to the bathroom and you can only imagine what happened once I got on the toilet. I'll spare you the details lol. I haven't had fried foods like that all week but I didn't think my body would respond the way that it did. I also had a major headache all night long. I woke up like 5 times in the middle of the night last night and the headache was still there. Luckily it was gone once I woke up this morning, thank God! It was a horrible nigh lol. I am definitely not doing that again.
So overall it was a great first week. I am excited to see where I go from here. I am in a great state of mind right now and I am working hard to be the person I want to see everyday in the mirror!!!
